Number 4–New

Upon looking around on this website that is so new to me, I found this. This is a photo challenge! I’m so excited for some cool inspiration! This weeks theme is new. Something new to me this year. As I’m thinking about it I think, I could talk about college, but that’s not really that new to me anymore. I could talk about how I’m going to The 1989 World Tour brought to you by the one and only AMAZING Taylor Swift, but I’ve already been to one of her concerts. What’s really new for me this year is that I’m spending 11 months without my man.

So Tom is off doing some training to be a nurse and I honestly couldn’t be more proud of everything he has accomplished. He’s one of the most inspirational people in my life and he’s going to be 3000 miles away from me for 11 months. He’ll finally come back in November and that’s going to be so wonderful. When we first met, it was November 2013. We started dating in December 2013, and in July 2014 he left to start his training. I saw him again in October and once again just recently for 2 weeks. It’s weird to think that once his training is all over we’ll have spent more time apart than together throughout our relationship but you know it’s just incredibly worth it. He’s really something special and he makes me the happiest I’ve ever been. He’s not only super handsome, but he’s also really smart, funny, caring, and kind. I’m pretty sure that he appeared out of no where and I scooped him up before anyone else could get to him. He’s my knight in shining armor. My prince charming. My hero. I really don’t know how I got so lucky but I did and that’s all that counts.

This was on our 6 month anniversary! We had such a fun adventure in downtown MKE that day! This is still my favorite picture of us.

During his holiday break we got the opportunity to go see A Christmas Carol which is one of my favorite Christmas shows!

Something else that is new for me that is pretty big that I just remembered..this is my last week in my childhood house. My parents sold our house and soon they will start building a new house. When I come home next they’ll most likely be living in an apartment which is actually something I’ve never done before so it’ll be something very new for me. I’m sad about it but I’m also excited. Obviously I love my house. I grew up here and I have so many fun memories here. But I’m so excited for new adventures with my family. As they grow older so do I and I’m going to start living in new places and getting a house or an apartment. I’m so excited for the new things coming my way. Things are going to start happening very quickly. In the next 5 years I’ll have hopefully graduated college and I’ll hopefully have a grown up job and maybe I’ll even be married. Who knows?

New things are happening all around me and it makes me more excited than ever to be alive and well.

Happy New Year, everyone! May all of the new things that happen to you be a wonderful learning experience.

Until later,

Emily
